Moradabad (desk)A shocking case of an alleged fraudulent attempt to take possession of a house has surfaced in the Adarsh Nagar area under the Katghar police station in Moradabad district. The complainant, Charanjeet Singh alias Happy, son of the late Mahendra Singh, has submitted a written complaint to the Katghar police, making serious allegations. According to the complainant, he had legally purchased a house in 1995 from Smt. Vidya, wife of Thakurdas, a resident of Idgah, Adarsh Nagar. He had been living in the same house for years along with his belongings. However, on November 14, 2025, he learned that some individuals had allegedly prepared a fake bainama (property transfer deed) for his house.It is alleged that Daljeet Singh and his wife Jaswinder Kaur conspired to grab the house using forged documents. When the complainant opposed their actions, the accused reportedly abused him and attempted to assault him.The situation escalated when Vijay Kumar Sharma, son of Bhagwandas, and Aman Sethi, son of Chandra Kumar Singh, also arrived at the spot and allegedly threatened to kill the complainant. According to the victim, the situation could have turned worse if local residents had not intervened in time.The victim has demanded a fair investigation from the police and strict legal action against the accused.
