Moradabad (desk) famous across the world as the “Brass City,” has now added a new feather to its cap by stepping into the era of eco-friendly construction. The Lohia World Space Experience Center, part of the city’s upcoming villa township Lohia One, has been awarded the LEED v4.1 Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This marks the first building in Moradabad to receive such an international-level green certification.

The Experience Center is not just a sales office but a living model of sustainable architecture. Designed with maximum use of natural light and air, the building incorporates energy-efficient systems, locally sourced materials, and smart design techniques that help reduce energy consumption by nearly 25%. Visitors experience a calm, naturally lit, and pollution-free indoor environment that sets a benchmark for green building practices in Tier-2 cities.
Spread across 10 acres, the Lohia One township aims to redefine modern living in Moradabad. It will feature 175 villa-style homes, 60% green and open space, landscaped gardens, walking tracks, and several modern amenities to promote an eco-balanced lifestyle.
Lohia World Space Director Piyush Lohia said, “It’s a proud moment not just for us but for the whole of Moradabad. The city that gave us our identity deserves development that is world-class yet responsible. This recognition puts Moradabad on the world map of sustainable growth.”
This achievement highlights that cities like Moradabad are no longer behind in the race for sustainable urban development. With this milestone, Moradabad has proven that environmental responsibility and modern progress can go hand in hand.
