Noida (Desk) — The wife of a sub-inspector living in a society under the Bisrakh police station area of Greater Noida has accused her husband of having an affair with a woman constable. In her complaint filed at the Bisrakh police station, the woman alleged that her husband, Neeraj Singh, has an illicit relationship with a female constable. She claimed that when she confronted him about it, he threatened her, leaving her mentally distressed.According to the complaint, the woman discovered her husband’s affair in June. Since then, he allegedly began drinking heavily and assaulting her regularly. She stated that her husband often boasts that being a member of the UP Police, no one can harm him and that he could even kill her without facing consequences.The woman further alleged that her husband frequently travels with the woman constable to places like Haldwani, Mussoorie, and Haridwar. When she objects, she is thrown out of the house. She also claimed to possess objectionable photographs of her husband and the woman constable, which she can present as evidence. The complainant expressed fear for her and her children’s safety, saying the two could kill or make her disappear. She stated that she no longer wishes to live with her husband, as his immoral behavior could negatively affect their children.The woman requested police officials to take strict action against her husband and the woman constable. She also mentioned that her husband earlier served as an SSI at Sector-24 police station, where the woman constable was also posted.Speaking on the matter, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh’s media cell in-charge, Subodh Kumar, confirmed that both the sub-inspector and the woman constable were earlier suspended from Sector-24 police station in separate cases. Sub-inspector Neeraj Kumar remains suspended and is currently absent without authorization, as is the woman constable. He added that departmental action has been initiated based on the complaint, and further steps will be taken soon. The official assured that the victim will receive justice.
