Actually, Raksa police station had received information from an informer. After which the police raided near Ramgarh bus stand and caught two members of the cyber fraud gang. The arrested accused used to create fake profiles on Facebook, Instagram etc. in the name of a girl and blackmail people by chatting obscenely and extorting money from them.
The police have named the two thugs as 22-year-old Gajraj Lodhi, son of Ghanshyam, resident of Amarpura village in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh and 19-year-old Sandeep Lodhi, son of Khaga village resident. The police have recovered 3 mobiles and 5 SIM cards from them. This gang has cheated more than 7 lakh rupees from about 145 people. Both the arrested accused have created IDs in the name of girls on Facebook and Instagram. Where the accused used to post photos of girls.

During interrogation, the accused told that first of all they used to create fake Facebook and Instagram IDs in the name of the girl and put fake photos of the girl. After this, obscene chats were done with boys. Then they used to blackmail by asking for nude photos and demanded money. At the same time, those who did not pay the money were threatened to make their photos and videos viral on social media.
Apart from this, after making nude videos, the accused used to call people posing as crime police officers and say, your nude video has come. They used to threaten in the name of taking action. When people started pleading, they used to charge them a huge amount through online payment in lieu of not taking any action.
