Blood Donation Camp Organized by IMA at Railway Hospital, Moradabad

Moradabad (Desk) – A blood donation camp was organized by the IMA Blood Bank at the Railway Hospital in Moradabad. The camp ran from 9 AM to 2 PM, during which people participated with great enthusiasm and donated blood generously. More than 35 people donated blood, setting an inspiring example of humanity. Both youngsters and senior citizens took part in the camp, showcasing a true spirit of social service.

During the event, Dr. C.P. Singh, Director of Jigyasa Hospital and President of IMA, raised awareness about the importance of blood donation. He stated that donating blood is a noble act and does not cause weakness in the body; rather, it helps prevent several diseases. Dr. Singh further explained that every healthy person should donate blood at least once a year, as one unit of blood can save a life. He emphasized that everyone should actively participate in such social initiatives.IMA Blood Bank Secretary and senior eye specialist, Dr. Girijesh ken, also highlighted the significance of blood donation. He said that the camp at Moradabad Railway Hospital witnessed an overwhelming response from people. He appealed to everyone to make blood donation a regular part of their lives, as it not only saves others but also keeps the donor physically healthy.The successful organization of the camp brought excitement among both the organizers and participants. Many people pledged to continue supporting such camps in the future to help those in need. This blood donation drive once again proved that collective efforts can bring about positive change in society.
