Moradabad (Desk):
A drunken youth misbehaved and assaulted police personnel during night patrolling under the jurisdiction of Mughalpura Police Station in Moradabad district. The incident took place in the Lalbagh outpost area. A case has been registered and the accused has been arrested.
According to the information, late at night, Lalbagh Outpost In-charge Om Shukla, along with constable Prashant Dhama, was on routine night patrol. When they stopped to question two suspicious individuals near Hathi Wala Temple, one of them, identified as Bikki Kashyap, son of Kailash Kashyap, who was heavily intoxicated with alcohol, began abusing the police personnel.
The accused allegedly used obscene language, attempted to assault Outpost In-charge Om Shukla and constable Prashant Dhama, and issued threats. Taking advantage of the darkness, he managed to flee from the spot.
Showing prompt action, Mughalpura police registered a case and later arrested the accused Bikki Kashyap. He was produced before the court.
It is noteworthy that the accused already has several criminal cases registered against him at Mughalpura Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n
